Santa Claus is coming to town

This is Aeris's ballet outfit that she wears almost every day. As soon as she gets home she changes into her dress up clothes. It's very rare to find a picture of her in jeans and a shirt. She's all about dresses, considering she's my only girl...I'm glad she likes dresses, her nails done, makeup, etc.

Aeris told Santa she wanted a scooter for her and a scooter for her brother. I thought that was very nice to think of Gavin also. Gavin was not into sitting on Santa's lap. I can't blame him, sitting with some old, stranger with a huge beard would scare any 2 year old.

Pregnant with twins

Yes, I am still pregnant. I am 37 weeks today. I am very thankful that this pregnancy has been so easy. Jory and I joke that since the pregnancy has been so easy, that these babies are going to be quite a handful.
I haven't had any morning sickness, not too much back pain. Every once in a while I take tums, but really I have nothing to complain about, besides the chubby face:) For the most part I sleep pretty well except for my 1 or 2 potty breaks in the middle of the night.

I am so anxious to meet these little boys. They are both still transverse (laying sideways). He said you cant deliver these babies vaginally if at least one isnt head down so.. Today I just went to the doctor and set up a c-section. Im of course very nervous but I will just be grateful to have two healthy babies. Dec. 29th is the date so please keep me in your prayers.
I guess we should put up the bassinet soon, wash the car seats, and swings. I always wait to put everything up because I just get too excited, not to mention all the Christmas stuff is taking over our house right now.

First snow day!

Aeris and Gavin loved playing in the snow.

This was right before we left to go to church. Gavin is of course eating the snow.

On our way to school Aeris had to stop and make a snow angel. Then she wanted to take my picture making a snow angel....but as you can guess, I said, "no that's okay, maybe tomorrow."

WE are family

Some people have been asking for family pictures. As you can guess, it's very hard to get everyone looking the same way, with their eyes open, not to mention a smile might be nice.
These are a couple of the best ones even though I think I look fat in them and Jory thinks he looks nerdy....can't make everyone happy.

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a really nice thanksgiving. We had 2 other couples over. The kids we're a little too distracted to eat. They were running around like crazy. All the adults were stuffed and sitting on the couch. We joked that if the kids ate as much turkey as we did they would be lethargic on the couch also. There was soooo much food! We ate left over turkey for a couple of days. It was a fun day.

Trick-or-Treat

TRICK-OR-TREAT!

We had so many parties to go to on base but Gavin has been sick for the last 2 days with a fever but he was getting over it. Halloween Day Aeris started getting a fever...but we drugged the kids up with Ibuprofen and went trick or treating anyway. It wasn't too cold outside (last year was a lot colder) but considering I have 2 heaters in my belly maybe I shouldn't be the one to talk about temperature:)

We went to the Chapel on base where there were crafts, games, hot dogs, and drinks. Aeris saw a lot of her friends there. Everyone kept saying, "Oh your costume is sooo creative, or thats a funny costume." Most people didnt know that the pregnant belly was real.

There were so many people out trick-or-treating that there weren't too many people giving out candy...but don't worry, the kids still got plenty of candy. Gavin would say trick-or-treat and they would give him candy and then he would keep looking in the bucket and try to grab more candy. Aeris kept singing trick-or-treat smell my feat, give me somthing good to eat...etc. She also loved looking at all the costumes.

We finished around 7:15 and then we put both kids in the bath and started the normal bed time routine (books, apple, song, tuck in).

Pumpkins

We decided to carve the pumpkins inside because it was so cold and dark outside. We has so much fun. Aeris and I made a traditional pumpkin with the triangle eyes nose and big mouth with teeth and Jory and Gavin made a Vampire pumpkin.
Jory also got this tool thing that hooks up to the electric drill that cleans out the pumpkin (what a time saver) but Aeris kept calling it a wand and wanted to play with it.

Later I also cooked the pumpkin seeds. They were delicious and the kids loved them!

Happy Halloween
Aeris is going to be the cutest little witch this year and Gavin is going to be Spiderman but he wont wear the Spiderman mask.

We attended a church Halloween Party, where we ate a baked potato bar and salad. Then the kids played games and went trick or treating from door to door inside the church. There was also a Halloween Party on post. Aeris and Gavin had sooo much fun. The played games and of course at lots and lots of candy!

Aeris can't wait for Halloween night. Gavin doesnt really know what's going on but he does love to eat the candy, especially suckers

Aeris has started preschool. She absolutely loves it.Gavin misses her but he's getting better about it. She goes 3 days a week for a couple of hours. It's a nice little break for me.
As you can see she's wearing a dress. She loves to wear dresses and skirts. She's a girly girl but she also loves to play at the park and get dirty. She doesn't really like for me to do her hair but will let me do it after some persuasion.
